THE WESTERLY FIRE DISTRICT HAS NO TAX SALE SCHEDULED FOR 2023
PLEASE BE ADVISED ANYONE WHO RECEIVED A NOTICE FROM ROCKET MORTGAGE ABOUT THEIR ESCROW PAYMENTS: 2023 TAXES WERE PAID BUT THEY WILL NO LONGER BE MAKING FIRE DISTRICT TAX PAYMENTS. WHEN YOU RECEIVE THE 2024 STATEMENT AND GOING FORWARD, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING THE PAYMENT DIRECTLY TO THE FIRE DISTRICT.

The 2024 Fire District Tax Statements will be mailed late October/early November and are due by November 30th.

Person Found in Pawcatuck River Following Intensive Search

Around 7:15 PM on Sunday, April 7th, 2024, Westerly Fire, Pawcatuck Fire, Westerly Police, Stonington Police, and Westerly Ambulance responded to a call about a person in the river near 99 Main Street. Westerly Fire Marine 30 and Pawcatuck Fire Marine 1 were promptly launched to search the riverbanks along the Pawcatuck River, accompanied by a drone. Structure Fire - 6 Hickory Lane

Around 6:55 AM on Saturday, November 11, 2023, Westerly Dispatch received numerous calls regarding a structure fire at 6 Hickory Lane. Responding units promptly requested a First Alarm, indicating the presence of smoke while enroute.
