CURRENT APPARATUS

Engine 4

Engine 4 is a 2007 Pierce Dash 4-man side mount 1500 gpm pumper with onboard Husky foam system, 750 gallon tank, 30 gallon foam tank and prepiped deluge gun.. It carries 1000 ft of 4 inch LDH as well as 500 ft of 1 ¾ inch hose and 400 ft of 3 inch hose. 200 ft is preconnected to a Blitzfire nozzle. The pump is a Hale Q-Max pump. The vehicle features a 400 hp Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine and Allison EVS 4000 automatic transmission. Current foam capabilities include, 2-1 ¾ inch preconnects and the 2 ½ inch preconnect. At one time Class A foam was carried in the tank. Currently F-500 foam is carried in the tank. Ground ladders are carried in a hosebed compartment. A 6000 Harrison hydraulic generator provided power to lighting and a cord reel. A medical cabinet is situated inside the cab for all meters and first aid gear.

Engine 2

Engine 2 is a 2002 Pierce Dash 6-man top mount 1750 gpm pumper with onboard Husky foam system, 500 gallon tank and a 50 gallon foam tank. It carries 1500 ft of 4 inch LDH as well as 600 ft of 1 ¾ inch hose and 600 ft of 2 ½ hose. The pump is a Hale Q-Max pump. The vehicle features a 400 hp Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine and Allison HD 4060 automatic transmission. Current foam capabilities include a prepiped Deluge gun, 2-1 ¾ inch preconnects and the 2 ½ inch preconnect. Currently F-500 foam is carried in the tank. Ground ladders and one length of suction are carried on a hydraulic ladder rack. A 6000 Harrison hydraulic generator provided power to lighting and a cord reel. Engine 2 is the primary response engine to all mutual aid calls.

Ladder 1

Ladder 1 is a 2018 HPS105 Cyclone II Aerial with 6 person cab. Ladder 1 is powered by an ISX 12 Cummins diesel 500 hp engine and Allison EVS 4000P automatic transmission.  The HPS 105 aerial has a 750/500 lb tip load (dry/wet), 94’-6” horizontal reach, crisscross, underslung jacks with only a 13’-8” spread, 240” wheelbase, Taskforce Tips Monsoon 1250GPM prepiped ladder pipe, hi-traction rung covers, a bolt-on egress, and large sheaves with large extension and retraction cables. The aerial can be lit at night by blue led lights for better visibility. It also carries 188 feet of ground ladders. It has a 8000 watt Onan Hydraulic generator which power two cord reels and external lighting.

Special Hazards

Special Hazards is a 2015 heavy rescue built by SVI Trucks on a Spartan Motors cab and chassis. The cab has a 10-inch raised roof, a Cummins ISL 350-hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission, Bostrom seats and a Kussmaul 1200 pump plus battery. Other features include an Onan 25,000-watt PTO generator, a Resolve Space Saver SCBA bottle fill station, Holmatro rescue tools. Hanney reels, a Command Light tower, On Scene Solutions compartment lights, R.O.M. roll-up doors, Whelen scene and warning lights and a Federal Q mechanical siren.

Marine 30

Squad 3

Squad 3 is a 2024 Ford F350 4x4 crew cab with a 9-foot utility body and comes fitted with an 8,000-pound winch mounted on its front bumper. Assigned as the main towing vehicle for Marine 30, Squad 3 is stocked with an array of gear dedicated to water, ice, and swift water rescue operations. Additionally, Squad 3 is equipped to handle CO calls, MVAs, and provides manpower for a range of emergency calls.
