Structure Fire - 20 Hobart Street

At approximately 2136 on Thursday, 5/25/23, Westerly Dispatched received a call reporting a structure fire at 20 Hobart Street. Soon after the dispatch, Misquamicut Fire Car 209 reported a working Structure Fire with all occupants outside of the structure. A first alarm was struck, with a special signal for Pawcatuck Fire T45 and T42 due to WFD Ladder One being out of service. When apparatus arrived multiple hose lines were put into operation for a defensive attack due to fire conditions. An additional engine was requested with manpower from Dunn's Corners Fire Department. The RI Fire Marshal was called in to investigate the cause which remains ongoing.
